Lisbeth Chawes is a Danish tech leader with over 15 years of experience from various management positions and startup companies within the technology industry.
She currently works for the global social media software company Komfo. Her leadership style can be described as passionate. Above all, she drives changes and develops new markets with a unique passion.
She is active and visible in the Danish business environment with an extended network, where she is also active on a board related to the Danish Marketing Association and the lead for a group of Top influential digital managers from companies like Danfoss, Lego, and Grundfos.
She has a proven track record of developing businesses and delivering transformation projects with an approach and style that instils confidence and builds trust with key internal and external stakeholders. Strategic planning, team involvement, and execution are her key strengths.
Her career began at the Danish e-Business Association in 2003, where she helped companies understanding technology. More recently, she co-founded Social Viper, a European social media software company. From an educational standpoint, she holds a BSc degree from Roskilde University, Scientific Soc – Communications and Economics from 2004.
Within the industry, she is a key figure in the Danish tech community and has coached several young professionals, and is a speaker on several topics within Social Media and Digital leadership. In 2011, she won Best Pitch from an entrepreneurial, money-making, viewpoint presented by The Next Women.
On a more personal note, she has 2 kids and is married to an entrepreneur. She also loves to travel around the world, great food, running and visits OB football stadium whenever it’s possible.
