Ria Lupton

Ria is a community builder and a story teller with an Information Sciences and Computer Engineering background. Her love for community building inspired her to start a national not for profit called Canadian Community Builders that teaches people how to build more inclusive communities. She also serves as the lead for Inspiring Fifty Canada. 

She is an advocate for inclusivity in tech and is the managing editor for Women && Tech. She has also helped launch and build several communities including, but not limited to, Startup Open House, Women Who Code Toronto, SheWorx Canada, and more.

Ria was featured in Betakit’s 40 women in Canadian tech to follow list and DMZ's top 30 Women in Canadian Tech making a difference list. She holds a bachelor in Information Sciences from London School of Economics and a Masters in Information from University of Toronto.
